OXYGÈNE 3 YEARS
AGED ARMAGNAC
Oxygène 3 years is an aged wine-based brandy produced in the south-western region of france, its fresh, fruity character results from the vinification of ugni blanc and baco grapes using yeast strains specifically developed for this purpose. The distillation is carried out using a traditional continuous method. The distillate is subsequently matured in oak casks for a minimum of three years before being blended into a harmonious and full-bodied composition. This armagnac can be enjoyed neat or in classic cocktails.
Ugni Blanc and Baco grapes are harvested and fermented into a dry white wine with low alcohol but high acid content. The wine is distilled once using a traditional continuous Armagnac still (alambic armagnacais). The result of aroma-preserving distillation is an eau-de-vie with an alcohol content of 52%. This slow distillation preserves aromatic compounds and produces a flavorful spirit. The youngest distillate in this blend was aged for at least three years in French oak barrels. The spirit is gradually diluted with water to the desired alcohol level (43% ABV), then filtered and bottled.
Fresh aromas of ripe fruit and white grape, complemented by subtle vanilla notes and a light oak influence. Delicate hints of citrus and mild spice may be present.
